Angelic Healing for Physical Pain Rooted in Trauma

Today we continue the Journey on Romania’s Highest Mountain Peak, but this time we turn inwards.

The night before climbing up and down Vf. Moldoveanu, I could barely sleep. I had terrible abdominal pain, and I knew it was due to the mental and emotional struggles I’ve been encountering the last couple of weeks, after an experience of re-traumatization, in the midst of losing my beloved Dog, and other life challenges.

At the beginning of the path, in the Forest, I felt Archangel Raphael’s Green Healing Light, and I received a Vision for Healing Physical Pain Rooted in Trauma.

To be honest, I’m feeling vulnerable sharing this. I meditated a few times on it, wondering whether to keep it for myself. Every time, the Answer I received was “When I am healed, I am not healed alone”, and “I give as I receive” (A Course in Miracles).

This Article explores the Mind-Body Connection and Psychosomatic Effects of Trauma, and at the end, I’m adding the Meditation I created after receiving this Vision.

Let’s begin:

The Mind-Body Connection

It is scientifically proven that imbalances in our mental and emotional states of being lead to physical imbalances, as well. There is a growing body of research that demonstrates it. It also demonstrates that healing physical issues requires balancing the mental and emotional bodies, as well.

Psychosomatic Effects of Trauma

Trauma and its psychological and emotional implications can affect the body, and this is often referred to as somatization. Physical pain and symptoms manifest as effects of psychological and emotional distress.

Let’s take an example of somatization described by Dr. Joe Dispenza, whose work is revolutionary in this field. It is the case of several Cambodian women who developed blindness, as a psychosomatic effect of experiencing great collective tragedy:

“A traumatic experience operates much the same way. By remembering the same event over and over again, these women fired and wired the same circuits in the same ways, which altered their brain circuitry. They also reproduced the same chemical emotions that, over time, began to change their brains and their bodies. The event and the continual torment of those memories created physical changes in their biology, not in their eyes, but most likely in their brains.

This is an extreme case but it’s interesting because it shows the power of our past experiences. These women no longer wanted to see brutality so their mind and body responded by impairing their vision. It’s tragic because the only thing they saw clearly was the past violence which only reinforced their current reality.” – Dr. Joe Dispenza

Breaking The Cycle

While trauma can severely disrupt the natural balance and optimal functioning of the body and mind, and bring about emotional dysregulation, healing is possible. Breaking the cycle is possible. Restoring Health on all levels is possible. With willingness and faith, our Inner Teacher can guide us to healing and health.

I’ve found Meditation and physical exercise helpful: working on the levels of spirit, mind, and body. While these last couple of weeks it’s been difficult to find myself in the cycle of looping traumatic thoughts and undesired emotional dysregulation, and even psycho-somatic physical symptoms, I’ve been doing the work of breaking free everyday. PTSD loop. Back again. Do the work. Break free. Back again. Break free.

And I pray to stay free, for The Highest Good of All.

Angelic Healing for Physical Pain Rooted in Trauma Meditation

With all this in mind, I’ve created this Meditation: Angelic Healing for Physical Pain Rooted in Trauma. It is my sincere hope it brings mind-body balance, and helps alleviate physical pain linked to traumatic experiences.
