Cleansing and Purification (IV): The Element of Earth

Time has come for the Cleansing and Purification with the Elements Journey to reach its end! We’ve received assistance from the Elements of Water, Air and Fire. Now, the fourth and final Element joins us: Earth.

Earth, The Element of Physicality

Due to its solid nature, Earth correlates to the physical realm and the material. Its solidity makes it the most representative element of the manifestation of matter.

There is a link between this Element and Mother Earth, and thus fertility and creativity. Its properties allow for the creation, sustenance and nurturing of life in physical form. The Earth nurtures all beings through the food it provides, ensuring their livelihood and growth.

The Earth is also symbolic of life cycles, as it is considered to be the fabric of our bodily vehicles for our incarnation on this planet. Perhaps the most known quote about this viewpoint comes from the Genesis, which states that “For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return”.
