2025: Reflections & Directions
As we approach the end of the year, I’m doing an exercise I find inspiring: reflecting on the year that has almost passed, and setting intentions for the upcoming year. Join me ♡
Reflections on AI
This year, it feels like AI has become a part of everyday life for most humans on the planet. While I find it interesting and I know it’s here to stay, there have been situations that had me thinking of Frank Herbert’s quote:
“Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them. […] human beings had an almost unlimited potential but were using less and less of it.”
And then of course, The Litany Against Fear:
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
The truth is, it took me years to create my paintings and my books, and they are an outpouring of my Heart and Soul. Now, we can create AI images, text, storybooks in waaay much less time, and I feel strange about it. Yet I also think that now, Original Human Creation is even more valuable.
Reflections on my Human Life
This year I’ve had loss, grief and resurfacing of old traumas.
I’ve also had joy, and I reached new heights: Romania’s Highest Mountain Peak.
And, I got a Tattoo. The only Tattoo I would have ever had done – the right person to do it just appeared, without me looking for it. I love it when this happens.
And, this year, I finished A Series of 12 Original Paintings. I worked with metallic paints, and I loved the process. It felt like working with Light. The pictures and test prints done after creation lose so much of the Original though, and I’m working on it. For now, the Originals have been seen only by a few close people. I’m looking forward to communicate more about it next year ♡
Directions
When writing this Article, I felt guided to re-visit a Lesson from A Course in Miracles, which offers great guidance for directions for the next year:
I will not value what is valueless.
And only what has value do I seek.
For only that do I desire to find.
Metaphysical Directions: I will step back and let Him lead the Way. May next year bring Miracle after Miracle!
Heartfelt Thanks
I want to thank every Soul who has bought my Books this year! Thank you from the bottom of my Heart ♡
I hope you will love and cherish them and that they truly are a Great Gift in Your Life!
Now, I’d really love to hear from you: how do your Reflections & Directions look like this year? Leave a comment below, I’d be happy to read it!
