The Original is the Original.
As much as I love seeing pictures of my paintings, and even holding them physically in my hand as my Art Prints, the Originals are the Originals.
I often feel as if pictures and prints of my Artwork are translations of the Originals. The Originals show to the eye and touch a lot more complexity regarding the colours, texture, composition, etc.
And, even if I would have access to the same space and materials as I had when I created an Original, it would be impossible for me to re-create it identically. The Original is unrepeatable. It is unique. It is literally one-of-a-kind.
Each Original piece I create holds a part of my essence as Creator. Each Original holds a piece of me, my Mind, my Heart, my Soul.
